PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The historic Highland Heights building was renovated in order to create a new home for KIPP:Nashville charter school. KIPP is a K-12 charter school open to students in Davidson County that are seeking a tuition-free, college preparatory option for public education.
Renovations of 34,700 sf existing school building
54,650 sf addition to historic 1930's East Nashville structure
Building features: polished concrete floors with recycled glass beads, restoration of historic brick & stone, pervious concrete pavers throughout parking area, 75% of construction waste was recycled.
